We are hoping to hear from others who also may have concerns regarding increasing financial costs due to VMWare's acquisition by Broadcom.
We currently run our Call Managers and Unity servers on VMs managed on our campus. Cisco CUCM is only supported on ESXi Hypervisor which limits our moves from VMWare to anything else. VMWare's pricing is expected to increase. We run on tight budgets without flexibility and need to plan for any financial changes a few years in advance especially for such a great change. We know cloud services are an option but we have other in house systems tied to that change which do not make the transition easy or quick. Any input would be appreciated.
