In my experience, the Kingston memory works fine and is a LOT cheeper.
However, when you call TAC with a problem with your router, they sometimes
ask if you have cisco memory installed. If the answer is no, then
they usually won't help you until you take that memory out.
my two cents.

Subject: router memory question
I am looking at upgrading a 2600 but am amazed at the cost of the memory.
The upgrade for 32 to 64 MB on the 2600 is costing me $1,273.
That is really incredible. I used to be able to use kingston memory.
Will the 2600 take Kingston memory or should I buy the Cisco memory that
is being recommended?
thanks
