source should be the host and destination is any
this is because the access-group for ethernet port is in
means that the source is coming from the pc segment as source

access-list 101 permit tcp host 95.0.8.52 any eq telnet

cheers

I have a problem getting this to work correctly. My workstation ip address
is 95.0.8.52 and the ethernet address of the router I am telnetting too is
95.0.8.99.

interface ethernet 0
 ip address 95.0.8.99 255.255.0.0
 ip access-group 101 in

access-list 101 permit tcp any host 95.0.8.52 eq telnet
access-list 101 dynamic mytestlist timeout 120 permit ip any any

line vty 0
login local
autocommand access-enable timeout 5

Where am I going wrong? This configuration was taken directly from Cisco's
CC0. Thanks for your help.
