I have found mistakes in just about every technical book I have ever read, but you are right in that the percentage of errors in this book is rather high. Rather than adopting a negative attitude, I have chosen to see it as a challenge. Since the book is known to have errors I check everything with another source or two, rather than using it as a one-stop unimpeachable reference.
