For Europe in general, they could also be using the G.703 standard
interface. It comes in two flavors, the 75 ohm unbalances and 120 ohm balanced.
They have the 30 B channels, but the D channel is the "16th" (15th) channel.
[Unlike the 24 B and the D on the "24th" (23rd)] Keep in mind that we start
from 0 or 1 depending on who taught you how to count 8-) . Here is a snip from a
G.703 config.

controller E1 1/0
         channel-group 0 timeslots 1-15,17-31

interface Serial1/0:0
description 2Mb circuit to the other end
 ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
 no ip mroute-cache
 bandwidth 1920

        I can help a little.
Europe, Australia, and others, ISDN PRI = 30 B channels and one D
channel
North America and Japan PRI = 23 B channels and one 64 Kbps D channel
30 B's and one D adds up to 2.048 Mbps bit rate.
        It should scream!

        Hello,

Anyone knows what France ISDN PRI switch type is?
Local teleco told us it's ISDN Primary Access T2, API
EURONUM with 30 open chanels. What does that mean?
        Thanks in advance.

        Jim
