In an E1 PRI, there are 32 channels, 30B channel + one D channel + one
for synchronization channel.
In Europe the D channel is carried in time slot 16 ( 15 for Cisco,
serial interface for cisco router start numbering at 0).
PRI configuration
- specify the correct PRI (isdn switch-type ##)
- specify the E1 controller: framing, line coding, (controller ##,
framing ##, linecode ## , clock source line )
- Set a PRI group time slot for the E1 (pri-group timeslot 0-30 )
- configure your D channel ( interface serial (slot/port : 0/15)
because is subinterface 15 is the channel D)
