3000's are the predecessor to the 2500. The 3102's are great for a single
serial ethernet router. The main problem with them is that they can only do
DTE on the first serial interface. The 3204's and 3104's can be DCE on the
second serial interface. They run 2500 code, although the boot-roms are a
little dated so they won't use the latest flash. You can TFTP boot them by
loading them up on Ram. I've got 3 - 3102's, 1 - 3204, and 2 - AGS+'s. Gives
me everything I need to test almost any configuration.

Main problem you will have is that most of them are running 9.x code.
