Hi
I had equal problems connecting 2924XL to 2505.
Changed config on 2924XL ethernet interface connected to router with:
interface FastEthernet0/11
speed 10
duplex half
Not been any problem after this change.
My switch IOS:
IOS (tm) C2900XL Software (C2900XL-HS-M), Version 11.2(8)SA4, RELEASE
SOFTWARE (fc1)
