That's one nice lab!!!

I wasn't going for competition, I just trying to find out how other people's
labs are put together. It's obvious from your setup that you are quite
serious about pursuing your CCIE (as am I) and as such, it's nice to learn
how people like yourself are approaching this task.

How do you like your 7000? I am considering purchasing one if I can also
find an ATM card for it. I currently have only one router with ATM (a 4700
with an OC-3 MMF module) and need another to really work on routing with
ATM. Between my Lighstream ATM switches and my Cat5000 with a ATM LANE
module in it, I'm covered on the ATM switching side, but I'm still short one
router for the routing side of ATM.

What are you using for a 2nd ATM router? Also, do you have any voice
capability yet? (I've got a 1750 with a voice module, but haven't touched it
yet from a voice perspective).

Also, I notice in the picture that you have 3 trolls on top of your stack.
Does it help <grin>? (I have Buzz Lightyear on top of mine).

Louie,

I think my home lab can beat your home lab.

I don't want to show off by the amount of the hardware, but as an indiction
of how much my career is worth to me.

Check out www.networkking.net/homelab/lab.jpg

This is my collection:

Routers:
        IGS
        804
        2501
        2503
        2414
        2504 x2
        7000
                Route processor
                Silicon SP
                Token Ring card 4 ports
                Serial card 8 ports
                Ether Card
                FDDI Interface Processor x3
Switches:
                5500 13 slot
                        Supervisor III
                        FDDI card
                        10BaseT card
                        155MM ATM card x2
                        ATM LANE emulation module
                        ATM Switch processor
                2926
                2924
                1900 x2
                1212 workgroup stack
Firewall PIX 510
ISDN Teltone Simulator
Dialup Viking Simulator

My setup changes from scenario to scenario, but your diagram is impressive I
should say.

Good luck.
