Depends on the release. Until fairly recently, secondaries would
default to the process switching path _unless_ you coded
int e x
ip route-cache same-interface
ipx route-cache same-interface
With these command or commands (don't bother with IPX if you aren't
using it!), the traffic will fast switch. I believe that somewhere
in IOS 12, fast switching became the default.
