Hi all,
I've been frequenting this site for the last eighteen months or so and have
picked up loads of valuable tips, and seen many list members rise to the ranks
of the CCIE. I am also aiming for that goal. In your opinions how long
'intensive' study is necessary to prepare for the lab ?
I am already CCDP/CCNP , have passed the CCIE written, and have five years
networking experience, three of which mainly using Cisco. I'm on the borderline
of booking the lab for 3 months down the road and working part-time in the mean
time. Do you think that is realistic ? I've assembled my lab, and worked through
the CCIE Lab Study guide. Is there anything more I need to do before committing
myself to the lab ?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am funding this myself so I want to
minimize the chance of having to resit.
