I'm taking the CCNA 1.0 this coming Monday, I feel unprepared, don't know if
I'll pass. Anyway, my dad took the CCNA 2.0 and said that the main addition
to the test was Voice Over IP. He said there were also a lot more WAN
protocol questions. So yes, it would probably be a bit more preparation.
As to whether or not you should take 1.0 or 2.0 I'm not sure, I've heard
conflicting statements on whether you need to upgrade to 2.0 if you've
already passed CCNA 1.0. Someone else probably knows more about it than I
do; I'm prety much just starting with Cisco...Just thought I'd throw in my
$0.02.
