Hi,
I have a cat 2901 sat at home with a little bit of a problem which I
hoped someone here might be able to help with.

Since attempting an upgrade from 2.4(5) to 3.2(4) as indicated in the proper
upgrade path it now fails to boot (to any point where I can reset it back to
the old image). The error message is something about failed to allocate
DISL memory and then it just loops through the boot process again.

Someone indicated I should be able to erase the flash and put the old image
back on but even search through cisco website i'm unable to find
instructions as to how to abort the start sequence on said beastie and
persuade it to reload an older image.

FYI: I appear to have been slightly silly in not realising there was room in
flash for two images and erased the old one prior to putting a new image on.

Help Me. It's an expensive toy to have sat doing nothing.

Jon
