I have been approached also but there is one problem. We are a Sliver Partner as well. 
Cisco has a clause of ethics that says it will not hire any SE away from a partner. 
The big reason being that it would look like Cisco was saying, " You guys train him 
and then when he proves him/herself we will hire him away and leave you with nothing". 
The goal is to leave good SEs at the partners so that Cisco is represented well in the 
feild.

You can get hired on if you get written consent from the head honcho of your company 
stating that it is OK for Cisco to hire you away from them.
