The console port is for trminal emulation. You connect it to the serial port
on your PC and run something like terminal.exe or HyperTerminal to do your
config. The console port doen't get an IP address. If you want to telnet it
goes through e0, s0, s1, etc. using IP. Hope this was helpful.
