One edge certified individuals have over their peers in the job field is 
ambition.  Granted there are days when I study where the material reads like 
legal notice corrections in the newspaper, but ask any employer who he'd 
rather have... a person who watches the clock and has their pc shut down by 
5:00, or someone who puts in that something extra to improve themselves...  
Heres a thought:

Does an accountant need real world experience to pass the CPA?  Yeah it 
helps, but it isn't necessary.

Why bust someone for trying to better themselves?
