I had talked to Cisco about this, because at one time they had claimed thier
VPN software was 2k compatible. Well I was told that their software wasn't
compatible (they imediatly removed the claim from their site) and that the
PIX would support the MS 2k VPN client in the summer. At this time I was
running 5.1(1). 5.1(1) as you may know was removed, and 5.1(2) was released
on June 9th. While browsing through the 5.1(2) release notes I noticed no
mention of Win 2k compatibility. 8(

Subject: VPN: IPSec and W2K Client?
I recently heard that Cisco will support the Microsoft Windows 2000 VPN
client as an alternate to Cisco Secure VPN client. A friend of mine told me
it was supported on PIX 5.1 and above. Has anyone tried this? What would be
a good way to test this in a lab envrionment?
