Hi, people! A design question: What means pps? Cisco 3660 have 100.000 pps of routing performance. What means this? Could I think: 100,000 pps (x64) = 6,400,000Bps (packets to bytes) 6400000Bps (/1000000) = 6.4 MBps (bytes to Mbytes) 6.4 MBps (x8)= 51.2 Mbps (Mbytes to Mbits) 51.2Mbps (/2) = 25 serial ports of 2 Mbps (Mbits to 2M ports) Could I conclude that Cisco 3660 can process the data of 25 2Mbps serial ports? Or I have to get a half of this result (IN/OUT) and find a maximum of 12 serial ports of 2Mbps?
