greetings from a newbie in this group! i finally took my CCNA last week with a score a little over 900. however, i only got 40% in network security, which i have NO way to believe!! i am confident in what i was tested regarding that part, and i used to work in network security with a tier-1 ISP plus i use ipfw on UNIX on a daily basis (access lists are pretty much closed-type ip fw, imho). anyway, i am very much curious to know what the heck i answered wrong (if the test system had no fault)! -- is there ANY way to talk to cisco to find out -- man, i am willing to pay! :) questions: 1) any comments (pros and cons) on skipping CCNP and taking CCIE (written) directly? i know some people did that. 2) any recommended books (and courses) for CCNP and CCIE (written)? being new to this group, i wanna tell ya how i feel here. yes there's gold here but you really have to dig it out from pile and pile of other stuff -- sad but true, i have to delete 3/4 or more of the postings i get from this list be4 i start to see interesting stuff (i personally think 1/2 "garbage" is OK but 3/4 is a little too much). sorry for being fussy! ;) deltan 8) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
