Hi
Static routing is also a sort of a routing protocol, but everything is
entered manually. Hence if you ha dynamic routing protocol, you need
redistribute static to make the static routes advertised by the dynamic
protocol. THere is an exception though, when you use the default route,
0.0.0.0, this will be advertised out by RIP automatically.
