hi

we have an Openroute Proteon GT75 ISDN router connecting
to our ISP via ISDN2e (UK). it seems to work fine as dial on
demand, transferring email to exchange server too

however, we are looking to change it for varying, unavoidable
reasons, and our ISP has supplied a managed Cisco 801
which was apparently set up fine at their offices, and indeed
works fine at another site with ISDN2e, but here, the WAN light
never comes on when plugged in, and the monitor says 'line
deactivated'

it obviously points at the ISDN connection, but the line provider
says there is no problem, and the Openroute work fine

any ideas ???
