I don't know how definitive this is but, the newest version of the Cisco
Networking Academy curriculum V2.11, still teaches classful addressing
(although it does mention VLSM in passing). And, according to Cisco at
Networkers 2000 in Las Vegas, the new curriculum maps to all the CCNA V.2
exam areas.
