I signed up for this Beta also and got my exam date for the 21st like many
of the folks that'll probably
take this exam. I've been eyeing this exam I must say it's come at a great
time. The reason being that our company is in the process of moving our
entire network support staff(close to 150 folks) to Voice phones.
Right now we're gearing up for a couple of VoIP solutions by both cisco and
lucent....
Anyone care to make a call on who does this the better (still an infant
technology) Cisco! or Lucent!
That said, I've been taking time to get my hands on any Voice information I
can. There's a couple of books out that offers some insight into the
technology like Gil Held's book, 1st and 2nd edition - Voice and Data
Internetworking, then there's a couple others. I've got CCO access and I
must say if it's got anything to do with cisco it's on CCO...tons of Voice
stuff in the TAC section... even on the public side.. check it out..
