This depends on several factors:
1. Do you need connectivity only to transfer this file, or are there other
applications for which you need site-to-site access?
2. Is speed really a necessity? In other words, does this file have to get
there really fast or do you mind if it takes a while?
3. How much money do you have to spend?
If you only need the circuit up to transfer files from time to time, you
could check into getting ISDN lines set up. Configure your routers for DDR
and make the file transfer traffic "interesting."
If speed isn't really a consideration, go buy some 33.6 modems and be done
with it. This might create some high long distance phone bills, so you'd
have to weigh that cost against the cost of these other services.
If you need connections up all the time, check into DSL, point-to-point T-1
or fractional T-1, or frame relay services over T-1 or fractional T-1.
There are some other factors, but I think we need to get answers to these
questions before we go any further.
