I have two Catalyst 6500 with supervisor and MSFC. The MSFC is performing the routing for the vlans. When sniffing it, I see a lot of broadcast (50%) coming from the MAC of vlan interface on the MSFC. Both ip and ipx are running on this. Is this normal? I have "no ip redirects" and "no ip directed-broadcast" on the interface. Any suggestions, hints, configuration, etc help would be appreciated.
