Looks like they are setting an expiration date of 3 years from the date of
your certification for both CCNA v 1 and v 2.  Although I couldn't find
anything on Cisco's site to confirm it.
Here is what Galton said about my CCNA 1 and 2.

CCNA 1.0
 Completed: Feb 11, 1999 Valid Through: Feb 11, 2002

 Completed: Mar 08, 2000 Valid Through: Mar 08, 2003
