Hi Group:

Given 2900 series variations of switches and the capability of enabling
"multi-VLAN" (ie. assigning more than 1 vlan on each port), what are the
advantages of using ISL-aware NICS instead? One scenario I'm thinking is
having a server port on switch configure for 2 vlans (vlan 2 + vlan3) for
users to communicate by means of multi-vlan. If I have the same server with
an ISL-aware NIC and enable trunking on that port, what are the differences?
