I concur with Thomas. A local C.C. has the CCNP program starting this fall.
I heard it first on groupstudy, but when I went lookin for info I was
suprised and excited. The prerequisite for registering is completion of
previous 4 CCNA modules , or have passed the CCNA exam.
The price includes tuition, registration, and fees. I had to decide on two
four hour evenings, instead of eight hours on Sat. They had only the #5
module---ACRC. The CCNA modules are up to current 2.0 exam, but for the CCNP
track, we have to study CCNP 1.0 ?
Somebody dropped the ball somewhere, and if it is to please the Training
Partners, I have some very mixed feelings about that.
Still for the price, to be around 10 routers and 2 Cat. switches, you
cannot LOSE.

Billy,

The current procedure is one CCNP course (there are four) per school
semester. Networking Academies are not (at this time) allowed to deliver
the curriculum any faster than that. Given the amount of information and
lab experiments contained in these courses (generally much more than
required to *just* pass the exam) the time frame is probably needed to
adequately cover the curriculum. Also, remember that Cisco does not want
the Academies competing with their commercial training partners who
undoubtedly will offer similar (but perhaps with less content volume)
compressed courses.

The CCNP program is just now getting started at the Academies. In fact
Cisco hasn't completed the curriculum for the final two courses yet.
