Does anyone have any good advice on choice of network management/monitoring software? I am looking to monitor roughly 25 servers 20 routers (mostly VPN to a 3000 Concentrator) 8 or so pix firewalls and various other switches and network devices. I have tried the Cisco works ver 6.0 eval and although it is a few thousand pounds cheaper than cisco works I have not been that impressed with the interface or functionality. Monitoring is going to be the main function but it would be nice to have some diagnostics tools and config delivery also. Considering the WAN is fairly small does anyone have any suggestions?
