Our requirements: 1) Server Load Balancing (IP address translation) LAYER 3 ONLY 2) Server availability monitoring (ping?) 3) Redundant Switch Capability (SLB HSRP?) 4) medium load - DNS, LDAP, mail, radius, etc..
