I had implemented compression on one link. the output is as follows
one side
Software compression enabled

10 min avg ratio xmt/rcv 1.796/2.280

Additional Stacker Stats:
Transmit bytes: Uncompressed = 101236 Compressed = 405733
Received bytes: Compressed = 1774037 Uncompressed = 2916489
Second side
Software compression enabled
uncompressed bytes xmt/rcv 2877551/2627243
1 min avg ratio xmt/rcv 0.585/1.933
5 min avg ratio xmt/rcv 0.399/1.424
10 min avg ratio xmt/rcv 0.366/1.408
no bufs xmt 0 no bufs rcv 0
resyncs 0
Additional Stacker Stats:
Transmit bytes: Uncompressed = 5791044 Compressed = 1433939
Received bytes: Compressed = 1430290 Uncompressed = 11458322
how to know in how much ratio the compression takes place.
I think in first side the compression is negative. am i correct.
Can anyone explain in detail. Urgent Response please.
