Hello Group, I have applied traffic policy on my Router3600(IOS12.2) for Voice and Video. I think traffic policy allows us to classify the traffic and then prioritise it. Assume that I have given policy for Voice with bandwidth of 200kb, in such case what will happen if I make voice calls more than 200kb, will that call be allowed or it will degrade the voice quality for the existing calls and then allows.
My requirement here is that instead allowing the excess calls beyond the allotted 200kb in my T1 link, can I make sure using the class map policy that only 200kb will be allowed not more than that. If voice traffic exceeding that b/w should be rejected. Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
