They are excellent!
The labs from MentorLabs (www.mentorlabs.com) are very good at focusing on
specific skills. They are very modular and allow you to practice on the
things you feel you are weak on, or simply don't have access to at work.
The labs from CCBootCamp are absolutely essential for preparation for the
actual CCIE lab exam. Nowhere else online can you simulate the level of
complexity that you will find in the actual lab exam. You can purchase the
labs to run on your own equipment, or you can rent rack time and run it on
their equipment. Either way, Marc Russell (president of Network Learning who
runs CCBootCamp) is great to work with.
Some places offer free access to equipment and lab scenarios - I have not
tried them so I cannot speak to their effectiveness or value...
