Technically, all you need is the emi image, and tftp it to the switch. Keep in mind, that the 3550 will not erase the flash before xfer'ing the file over, so you'll need to take that into consideration and either erase the current flash, or config it to boot off the new image (otherwise it will still use the SMI image even though the EMI image is on there as well).
