Hi,all I'm confused with a question about Uplinkfast, who can give the correct answer and a explaination? Thanks.
The question is: In which switch should you configure UplinkFast to archive fast STP convergency according to the following diagram, of which four switches connected with four links with same cost. switch1------------switch2 | | | | | | | | switch3------------switch4 switch1's stp priority is 300, mac is 1111.1111.1111 switch2's stp priority is 200, mac is 2222.2222.2222 switch3's stp priority is 200, mac is 3333.3333.3333 switch4's stp priority is 100, mac is 4444.4444.4444 My answer is : Uplinkfast should be configured on switch1 because switch4(with lowest priority) is the root bridge and switch1 is the leaf switch in the STP in the above diagram. Am I correct?
