To quote a sage, what is the problem you are trying to solve?

The short answer is no you cannot find or create some kind of adapter cable
to run between the ethernet output of your DSL router to the serial input of
your 2501 router. Why? Because ethernet is different than serial. Never the
twain shall meet.

The fact that you ask the question, though, indicates that you have in mind
some problem you are trying to solve. What is it? Are you using the router
as a firewall? What is your current network design? Where does the DSL
router fit into this design?

With better information as to your goals and desires, folks here will be
better able to provide suggestions that meet your requirements.

Chuck
