I've done it quite a bit. I hadn't noticed a different fcc/etsi. There's only one the one image. We put 12.01 i think on all our br350's.
I while back we were having a weird problem and after a bit of troubleshooting TAC said to upgrade the firmware. I took that as a canned answer and messed with it another day. Finally upgraded the firmware and it fixed the problem. Lesson learned...
