I don't think so, vlan 100 is now (without an IP address) a repository of
whichever ports you will into it. If the platform is capable of L3
switching, you may want to make sure issuing the "[no] ip routing" config
command. Remember Cat 3550 (for example):

1.- Use IOS type configuration (indeed it's ios)
2.- Perform L3 switching. EMI with more protocols than SMI, both routing,
though.
3.- You can also "create" a vlan on interface config mode placing the port
an vlan 100 'before creating' it on vlan database.

Cat 5000's create vlan's much the same way but L3 switch or route between
them using a trunk interface (either internal or external)
