"We finished writing Vol II a couple of months ago, and are editing right now. It should be out in early fall. We took some extra time make the labs really challenging and are providing answers on the CD along with routing tables and such. CCIE PSV2 will have a detailed chapter on the 3550, over a 150 pages devoted to it. Some of the material, like 802.1d STP, is a review, but it has the new 3550 stuff included. Some of the new features we cover is the layer three switching, RSTP and MSTP, extended VLANs, layer 3 EtherChannel and such. Ideally do most of the labs, you will need a frame switch and at least three routers. We also have a lot on QoS, to do some of these labs you will need 12.1 and 12.2 code" -----Source :Karl Solie via http://[EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- -----Posted: May 08, 2003 02:34 AM --------------------- -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, July 26, 2003 4:49 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: CCIE Practical Studies, Vol. 2 [7:73055] Does anyone know when this book will be available.
