I freely admit that I've lost the sense of the problem that actually needs to be solved, with all the discussion of the various tables. Before my brain started to reboot, however, it sounded like it was a traffic engineering problem. Has anyone looked at the OSPF Traffic Engineering extensions here?
Also, I got an impression that people didn't want to use MPLS for a TE problem. Why? That's essentially what it's for.
