Hello, I passed the 640-901 in July. "Routing TCP/IP Vol. 1"(Doyle) and "Internet Routing Architectures 2nd Edition"(Halabi)proved to be a solid combination. "Advanced IP Routing in Cisco Networks" (Slattery/Burton) was also pretty helpful.
I also used a couple of 2500 routers to practice really basic OSPF and BGP configuration. Good luck!
