How far are they roaming? Aironet is a LAN solution. You can only go 
approximately 150 feet, depending on obstacles.

I might be missing something, but VPNs and Aironet don't even seem to 
belong in the same category. Maybe if you tell us more about your 
application, we can provide more info.
