I have this question about proxy-server? I have WIN98SE that has my dial-up to the Internet and I have proxy-server on this PC too , this is connected to one of my Cisco routers ; I have 3 router that are connected together running EIGRP IP only. I have 3 other pc's connected to each one my routers, not including my proxy-server ( 4 pc's in total) . The pc that is on the same subnet as the proxy-server works just fine, I had set all the right setting in my IE 5.0 for proxy-server for all of my pc's, but the other 2 pc's can not connect to the internet for some reason. I had done traces and pings to the proxy-server with no replays, but I can ping each other just fine. Does proxy-server only work on the same subnet as your workstation, that is going to use the Internet or is their a way for my other 2 pc's can utilize the proxy-server like the one that is on the same subnet as the proxy-server is?
