Hi Yep done it several times, smoking way to get good cheap routers, most people do not know they can be upgraded to regular IOS. You will need a cross over Cat 5 cable, and a console cable. Hookup the router to the PC as shown in the directions for the RSL. Run the RSL to upgrade the IOS, it will detect that you are hooked to a pro, and ask if you want to upgrade it to a regular router, say yes. Then sit back and wait. When it is all done, not only will it be upgraded from a pro, but the IOS will be upgraded too. If you try to do it from the instructions on CCO or references in the feature pack, well I won't say it won't work, but frankly I have never been able to get it to work without using the RSL. BTW, you will likely have to upgrade the flash and ram as many of the pro's shipped with minimal memory.
