Bandwith

Hi,   We are going to upgrade our bandwidth for 1 mbps, and my ISP is try to give me that but i have doubt about the link, Is thrie any utility through which I can measure the actual thruput I can get from ISP media.(Copper, normal Phone wire)   Thanks     Gm
