MCI is the largest carrier, but there are other carriers at the endpoints
for the local fiber distribution. Not user who they are though.
We tried loopbacks from mux1 back to rtr1 ---> no crcs errors.
We tried loopback from mux3 to rtr1 ---> crc errors
We tried loopback from mux1 to rtr2 ---> crc errors
The only common equipment from the loopbacks that produced crc errors are
the Orion CSU/DSU and the MegaT mux.
The MegaT takes 2 unframed T1s and mux them into an E1
We initially had a loose cable on the Orion from mux1, but we still saw crc
after we secured the cable. Next we replaced the Orion with a backup Orion
and everything ran fine initially. After a few hours we started seeing crc
errors.

is it only one carrier? who's your carrier? loopbacks from where to where?
what is the total bandwidth? i'm assuming it's frame because a dedicated t1
or e1 would cost WAY to much for any company to want to pay...
