I agree with you on this but I just cant fathom trying to learn 2 different
technologies like this at the same time. What I plan on doing is knocking cisco out of
the picture and then (if cisco hasn't completely taken over the market) I would move
on to other smaller things (that was a joke) ;)

I hold multiple Cisco and Bay/Nortel certifications,
and some others but I do certs for fun and one can
tell if someone knows their stuff or not by talking
w/them for a few minutes. Plus theirs the attitude/ego
factor... some people think they are "god" after they
achieve x cert and don't care about others anymore and
change completely for some reason. I distance myself
from these types.
