You could always use some equipment you work with every day. There is
usually a time when you can fit in some time to practice, just make sure you
tftp the config so you can put it back when your done.We used to go in late
Sat early Sun and play. We got permission first though and I recommend this,
most employers are open to this when one is using the network anyway. I work
for an ISP and obviously the network is always up so it isn't an option
anymore for me. But think about it what employer wouldn't want a CCIE
working for them. So sell it that way.
This is probably the best way to get some free practice, bar a testing and
training lab which most ISP's have anyway. Good Luck
