We also teach these courses at IBM (nice to know there's a decent
alternative to GKN, at least in Canada, where they had a monopoly until
recently). In my experience, the Cisco courses are *so* fully packed with
material that it is virtually impossible to finish much before 5pm EVERY DAY
INCLUDING FRIDAY. The labs do take longer than the estimated time, on
average, and the majority of students enjoy the variety of activities -
written exercises, case studies, hands-on labs. I know that whenever I teach
a Cisco course, the customer gets his money's worth. There's no cutting
corners and finishing early. I warn the class of this on day one at 9am.

I would encourage anyone who's interested to give IBM a try. I am based in
Canada (Toronto) and we work to a very high standard indeed. One more
thing - our Cisco classes cost less than GKN!
