try to set up bvi running irb or set up port-channels for the routing table.
The interfaces are like interfaces on a router, you can not assign them to
the same network. I believe conceptually the 2948g-l3 is built of off the
6500 arcetecture like the 4006 with the RSM is like the 5500.

    i use a CAT2948-3L to connect to hosts.i think it could use as a layer2
switch but it failed.
    so i use ip addressing and routing.the address of F1 and F2 is
192.9.200.20 to 21,but it tell me "192.9.200.0 overlaps......"and i can't
assign the address to F2 after assign F1 with 192.9.200.20
    the two hosts to be connected can ping themselves.what's the problem?
